I
coerced convinced my mil to buy an ipad which she conveniently often leaves at our house. She wants to take a forced break from the mah-jong and sudoku that she's somewhat addicted to. We bought the smart cover for it, but it doesn't provide the protection and portability that I think an ipad needs. So I sewed a little cover for her. I made a little proto-type before I tackled the project, but I didn't follow my plans so I had to keep readjusting and measuring (which didn't come so easy at 1-2am).
I made it so the ipad removes easily from the cover. It's actually only attached via the magnet in the smart cover.
